Thank you, Papi. I believe the official scorer marked that down as a home run.

Did they play this weekend? This team has lost me, I have no emotional investment at all.

COD,
Same here. If i hadn't prepurchased mlb at bat i wouldn't be half as interested. Maybe I'll turn off notifications and see if I even care....

I think they tied, 2-2 on an Eric Chavez walkoff.

Agreed, yb. I'm loving this thrice-daily dose of great soccer.

I knew Lackey was kind of robotic, but I didn't know he had an on-off switch. he went from okay to no-way in the blink of an aye yi yi.

Lebron just opted out of his last two years in Miami. There's a shock!!! ;O

I was switching back and forth between the CWS game and the Sox game. Two pitching meltdowns in the space of a half hour.

A little entertainment for this morning.

Don Was is only one of the few unrecognized gods of recording rock and roll and a whole lot more.

Why do you humans drink what you drink or smoke, anyhow?
There is something to be said for being fully in touch with the moment.

As you may have guessed by my name, I am depressed by two teams today, more so by the Cavs...
They have gotten here by pitching and defense (which failed miserably) and as you saw a pretty good offense, except for that 1/2 inning, what a game for the Cavs.
Nate Kirby threw a no hitter this year and has been pretty much awesome this year. I feel bad for the kid.
If I were a 'Dors fan I wouldn't feel really comfortable knowing we put up an 8 spot without any contribution from Papi.

How many people stayed up for the entire game last night? Not including those on Viagra.

RIP Eli Wallach.

One armed Guy: I've been looking for you for eight months. Whenever I should have had a gun in my right hand, I thought of you. Now I find you in exactly the position that suits me. I had lots of time to learn to shoot you with my left.
Gun: BLAM!
Tuco: When you have to shoot, shoot. Don't talk.
Kinda appropriate for certain pitchers as the Sox have so many right now that can't get mediocre hitters out or good-Fantastic hitters out, either.
Stay Creepy My Friends.
Eli, You were one hell of a player on the big screen or a stage. Like Ted, Yaz, Bopper or occasionally Papi you'd deliver what we wanted.

I swear to God, this win is going to propel the Red Sox into the kind of winning streak you read about in India Cricket Daily.

They didn't lose last night. So there's that.

Summer hours rear their ugly head again. Why do I have to leave work so early? Why??? There are so many meetings we could meet at, so many buzzwords we could throw about, so many clients we could call and leave brown, butt-cheek sized messages with. But nooo, we have to leave early because it's warm outside. Bah.
Have a great weekend all. Hopefully we'll have something fun to yak about on Monday.
