Fridays Will Be Off
In a group of Soxaholix, a woman speaks:
Well, no more Wonderbread, no more Twinkies...
In a group of Soxaholix, a woman speaks:
But, as far as I know, Brachen is sticking around.
In a group of Soxaholix, a woman speaks:
Except for Fridays at least.
In a group of Soxaholix, a woman speaks:
So, Ted, I'm assuming you're going to need some time off today to stock up on Ding Dongs, right?
If I have to choose between Twinkees and this creepy place...sorry about the 18,000 jobs. Yay HB!

"Sno-Balls? Sno-Balls? Sno Balls? Where's the fucking Twinkies?"
Actually, Soxaholix is kind of like a Twinkie. From the outside, it looks kind of normal. But it's hiding a creepy filling.

Oh, and H.B.?
Whoo-ah!

no twinkies, but abcnews.go.com/Health/cracker-jacks-surprise-caffeine/story?id=17729656 instead... hopefully enough to keep hart buzzin in the late innings...

Yayyyyy! Well, not about Hostess. Then again, someone gave me a Twinkie about a year ago and ye gods how did I ever eat those things? Repulsive. And I'm a man who has deep-fried bacon.

h.b., you made my morning!

Far reaching implications. Twinkies were the post-apocalyspe foodstuff. Soylent Green moves up in the queue.

Oh my Ding-Dong!! ;O

Ho-Hos!(fond memories of those from grad school). Very glad to hear you are sticking around for another season despite the reduction in munchie food.

Let it be known, though, that if the Red Sox end up being stupid enough to sign Josh Hamilton that I may take my creepy characters and go home.
Posted by: h.b. | 2012.11.16 at 11:44 AM
h.b., thanks for keeping your house open a little longer and not kicking us loiterers out. And re Josh Hamilton, amen. The redsox need to stay away from people named josh for awhile.

Good news. Bad news. Good news wins! Thanks, h.b.!

Sweet!

Fuck the Twinkies.* Full speed ahead!
*Not literally, of course. But that would explain the filling.

Geez, what could go wrong with a JH signing. I mean if BC follows that with a brilliant over paying for the Zach - and then hires Kelsey Grammar as the team shrink...I say go for it. Of course, we'd need a bigger bus for next year.
Thanks, HB for sticking with. I now have something to proclaim around the turkey next week.

OK, CO and WA approve recreational use of the weed, and Twinkies goes out of business. What am I missing?
Posted by: louclinton | 2012.11.16 at 02:57 PM
Michelle hates food and the people that own the business that make an unapproved item. The employees of Hostess weren't represented by the "right" union, either. Simple.
Weed doesn't make money for the government, unless one adds up the fines paid by growers and users, which per the Brookings institution, does not come remotely close to what they could collect in taxes on legal weed! I drink Cutty, Bud and various branda of Rum. I pay NYSSR (New York Soviet Socialist Republic) taxes on all of it.
So, hb, you're going to continue sharing our collective angst. Thanks, man! We will need this bully preacher to guide us through another miserable, angst riddled 2013 season the way it looks.

So I'll be able to ride off into my two-week vacation knowing that I'll have a home to come back to.
Thanks, H.B.
Have a great weekend all. Hopefully we'll have something fun to yak about on Monday. Or whenever I decide to wake up.
