Dragged myself in to work, although I feel like one of A-Rod's ho's after a night of whining and centaur viewing.. Everything's okay on the home front, except for a few loose shingles in the driveway. Took a look up top and can't see any bare patches, so I think everything's okay.

If they had just named the storm ARod instead of Sandy it would have missed everything.
We seem to be ok here in VA. Still have power, internet and cable, and the house seems to be undamaged.

Hope everyone survived the storm in the Northeast and other parts. So I was in Toys R Us over the weekend and found a Lackey doll in the clearance bin. I took a picture with my phone but can't figure out how to post it here. I have so many questions, but the main one is: do you think they actually sold ANY of those things? Other than to his family and friends? What a waste of plastic.

Sun is out in western Massachusetts...aside from some rain and a bunch of leaves from my lazy neighbor's yard, we dodged this one...not like last Halloween where we were without power for 7 days.

Aside from some wind, Mudville managed to avoid further damage. I noticed that both NY ballparks survived (DRAT!) But, my tax dollars would have been confiscated to fix 'em, so it is what it is.
Nick Swisher is a UFA, since he loves hitting at Fenway, why not get him cheap? Worst he can do is stay with the MFY's

Direct hit on Kingston: kind of a mess and now on day 7 w/o power and water - there are compensations, however. North side of Jamaica just basically flattened. Major flooding. Only 1 dead, though.

Winds howling 50 to 60 mph just south of Lake Michigan. Give us idea of Sandy's strength.

All fine down here but it does look terrible on the telly. I hope you are all okay.
