Under .500 Friday (con't)
In a group of Soxaholix, a woman speaks:
Well, no baseball comic-blog today...
In a group of Soxaholix, a woman speaks:
At least for Boston fans.
In a group of Soxaholix, a woman speaks:
Seems these things are popping up like mushrooms.
In a group of Soxaholix, a woman speaks:
You did a lot of mushrooms in college didn't you, Ted?
MMMmmmmmmm. Unexpected mushrooms. Anyone else ever been to Palenque?

Imitation is the sincerest form of assault and battery, HB.

Oh, and urm, I've been to Palenque many times. Ever been to Palenque with a green fairy? Holy Schnikey.

Don't worry, h.b. He doesn't do nearly as well drawing his characters as you do.

Yes, zoomers, mmmmgood. But within that expected foray always the unexpected. Beware the friend who says "these are kind of bunk, you might want to double down". He is playing a very good prank on you. You will be "one of those guys", you know them, the ones sitting off to the side, sweating bullets, everyone asking if you need anything, and you unable to answer verbally becuase tryingto bring lightspeed billions of thoughts down to a single transmittable message that you can actually get your mouth to work with is just not going to happen just now. Later on, you can scoop up the puddle your brain is swimming in and start to grin from ear to ear, and rejoin the gigglers around you and think "that fucker... Double down... holy moly, i just had a chat with godalmighty himself". Or at least thats what i am told. :))))))

Is Jeff in NC having a tiny stroke?

The best part about Theo's two last place teams battling it out is that one of them has to lose.
And yes, Jeff, I've also heard (from a friend) that for every moment of fulfilling euphoria, you owe the universe an equal moment of utter fear and horror ;)

Apparently Dice-K is also taking Friday off. Not yet out of the 2nd 50 pitches, 3 stolen bases and 3 run given up. Just what the Cubbies needed.

Remember '45?
Japan nuked? Cubs win pennant?
Seek revenge, Dice-K.

Revenge? The best revenge is a life well lived. As in beer cart and summer hours.
Have a great weekend all. Hopefully we'll have something fun to yak about on Monday.

Stroke? Why heavens no. Just enjoying the view from this bus full of redsox fans and empty liquor bottles commandeered by a woman in a teal dress that picked me up. Out one window is a view of Palenque, out the other is aview of some japanese fella who apparently spent all of his down time working on his hair color and none working on his trade. And when I close my eyes there is is toothy silver haired dude smiling at me like a cheshire cat. I wish he would just vanish.
