At Last
Two guys walking, tall guy speaks:
AL East East Champions!
Two guys walking, short guy speaks:
And when we look back on this years from now and are reminded how the Sox took the lead for good on April 18th, the panic of the past two weeks will be long forgotten.
Two guys walking, no words exchanged:
Two guys walking, tall guy speaks:
What panic?
perfect, h.b., just perfect

Thank You Melvin.

That is a fitting post.
Sox are AL East champs.
Cubs are NL Central champs.
Phillies are gonna win the NL East.
I'd write more but I think I better go buy some lottery tickets and then get down into my bomb shelter. Cause either Lady Luck is in an incredibly generous mood these days, or the world is about to come to an end.

Words can't express my joy. Thanks be to the O's for finishing the job. I doubt that I'll ever forget the panic, or the Sox being the best team in MLB for pretty much the whole season.
Anyone who's followed the Sox for a while must be used to occasional feelings of panic.
Thanks for the extra special Saturday edition.

What an enjoyable Friday night. I watched the end of the Yankees game. Wish it could have been Millar who put the nail in their coffin. On the downside, I swore that Francoma was leaving Matsuzaka in too long. I could not believe that he came out for the 8th inning.

Perfect strip today hb...but I must admit that I too was screaming at Tito to pull Dice K.
I love the picture of Paps wearing the 2-4 box on his head on DirtDogs site.

Now, we can celebrate.

Not only did the Sandman blow a three run lead (I was jumping up and down as the bases cleared with that triple); not only did the Yankees blow a chance to win it in the tenth; not only did the Red Sox win the division; not only do we get a hella cool bonus strip; but downunder the horrid Port Adelaide (who had show boated like NFL running backs to humiliate their opposition last week) got absolutely POUNDED in the AFL grand final by poor old, working class Geelong who had lost 5 grand finals since 1963:

With trepidation I say this:
bring on the Angels of Disney Land.

The soxaholix mob should have a REALLY BIG DRINK at Copperfields (Downunder) tomorrow! But don't let Bob let you miss the first five innings as I did.

Sorry - double post. And unduly long at that.

Did you guys catch the dances by the Sox players? If that career in baseball thing doesn't work out, I'm sure Youk could get a job on Broadway! HA.
This has been a totally fantasticly excellent weekend.
