Good graces

Steve:
So anyone can go to a fight and see a hockey game break out...

Steve:
But how many people can say they went to a *morality play* and saw a hockey game break out?

Mike:
Little known fact, if you look up "deus ex machina" in the dictionary, there's a video clip of Patrice Bergeron there.

Mike:
Christ, I just rewatched that and got chills...

Steve:
"Just turned midnight.."

Steve:
We are in a golden age of the "B"

Mike:
Truly. Grace meets us where we are.

Comments

Patience is bitter, but its fruit is sweet.

It was simply beautiful.

True, just hope the D heals before they have to face Lundquist and the Rangers.

At least Canadian cities have some experience in how to deal with the fans after their hockey team totally implodes.

I guess a 3 goal lead is now the most dangerous lead in hockey.

Among the many perils of living outside NE and in non-hockey town is that the media doesn't even mention hockey schedules. So I thought the game was tonight... My own damn fault for not checking. I feel like Jimmy Fallon in the breakup scene - greatest Game 7 comeback ever and I missed it. Crap.

What got me was how quickly the crowd in TO vanished. There was a rare (for TO) party, then- nothing. Oh, well the Stones are coming, All these years, catch 'em whenever I can, Fred and Barney..
Now, for the Rangers, for whom the wait needs to be extended.

Fuck Jimmy Fallon. And Fever Pitch. What an awesome game! Definitely need healthy D to move on though.

It would have been nice if the NHL cared enough about their sport to show the game on DTV! The Rangers blow out was on but not the B's game out west. Oh well there will be another epic comeback someday...

I'm still hungover

Okay, so here we go, my Sox brethren but hockey foes! My cleverness for choosing the Sox as a kid growing up in NJ did not extend to hockey, alas, and thus I am a Rangers victim. Looking forward to good-natured taunting. 40 years since they played each other in the playoffs!

Ridiculous awesome game last night. Even a few lame Sharks fans out here recognized it.

But I'm still wiping away tears from watching the Steal again.

I thought I saw a similarity. Quite a juxtaposition.

Okay, if this doesn't work, I'm banning myself for the rest of the day.

F$@&!!! Just copy and paste the blue bits, and it should work.

See you tomorrow.

I had blue bits once. But I'm better now

Mudville media is trying to generate feelings for TO, after all they help support a hopelessly under profitable NFL team, with no chance in hell of bringing home the big prize. So, I let them have it, they refuse to remember the 1992-3 Jays. Why?
Mudville has a cumulative playoff drought going back to before the Sox last World Series win. TFB sez I!

Loved that 2004 video. The way Roberts jumps up after sliding home is not only baseball, it's dance.

First Bergeron.

Now THIS.
