Nothing to it, really

So the consensus is that the Red Sox are the second most improved team in MLB as a result of offseason moves.

Yeah, and the government is going to mint a trillion dollar coin to solve the debt crisis.

And people say life is hahd.

Well, it's easy only if you're blessed as we are in being recipients of the largesse of the collective IQs of the best and the brightest on both Yawkey Way and Washington D.C.

So who's head are they going to put on the trillion dollah coin?

John Lackey's.

Nice work out of you!

A trillion dollar coin would have to be enormous, so it'd need a big head on it. And nobody has a bigger head than Bobby V.

Bob already got the "wouldn't fit" joke.

Nothing here.

"Who's head?" "John Lackey's" Hilarious!

Another data point in the decline and fall of empire. Blaring televisions in physician's waiting rooms. Anesthesize the masses seems to be standard operating procedure these days. Upside? I don't have to listen to the masses drone on. Time to move on to concierge medical care. Snobbishly yours.

I'd put The Big Head on it. TBH was William Shatner's best role, IMHO!

If the coin artistic shrunk his afro, CHB might fit.

For those of you some how worried about the "platinum coin solution", you shouldn't be...for now. Here's a great article that explains why (and also offers a better solution that doesn't destroy certain valuable independences between the Fed and the government): http://www.economist.com/blogs/freeexchange/2013/01/economics-platinum-coin-option

If they ever do make that coin, it's only a matter of time before it ends up on Pawn Stars.

I hear AIG is gonna sue to get there logo on it.

Barry Bonds head might fit

That coin would have to be the size of a manhole cover for Bonds' head to fit.

Rex Trailer died yesterday. If you grew up in the Boston area in the early 60s, Boomtown was a big part of your Saturday morning.

Loved Rex Trailer. RIP

Drizzle, drazzle, druzzle, drome, time for this one to go home. Or at least start to think about it.

Have a great weekend all. Hopefully we'll have something fun to yak about on Monday. (Monday afternoon for me, since I'm sleeping in after going to the Patriots game.)
