Funny how paradoxical the 24/7/365 Twitterpalooza news and rumor cycle is: in some cases it sucks all suspense and interest out of an event (like Winter Meetings) and in other (most) cases, turns tempests in a teapot into Hurricane Sandy. Admittedly, I have not been paying one iota of attention to the Sox and we were on vacation all last week, but has ANYTHING happened that would make me this 2013 is going to be good (aside from the Bobby V hiring, which is definitely something)?
