Sometimes a Sunday strip is necessary
Father Tim:
♪ In nomine Patris et fillii et Spirituuuuuus Sanctiiiii ♪
Scene from a church:
♫ Ahhhhh-men.
Father Tim:
Now before we go, brothahs and sistahs, let us recall the words from Paul's lettah to the Romans...
Father Tim:
"We also find glory in tribulation, knowing that tribulation exercises patience."
Father Tim:
So have great patience.
Father Tim:
And faith in Buchholz, he of the clay, who shall endure.
If they lose today, will CHB tun on the team tomorrow and write the season off?

At least Ortiz is still on pace for 162 home runs...

wow- a rare Sunday comic!
I guess I shouldn't be too surprised that Texas is giving the Sox trouble- they did win the pennant last year so they're no pushovers. Now, if we drop two to Cleveland, I'll be worried.

Ug. We're giving up more home runs than Paris Hilton and Pamela Anderson combined.

So much for the power of prayer.

So much for 160 and 2. Come back Hideki:
Starting pitching sucks.
Relievers are wintry cold.
Oki is forgiven.

All things considered, I was pleased with control of base stealing, and general infield performance. That ballpark is similar to Coors field in that the wind usually blows out and proves to be a hitter's park.
Glad to see a Sunday post HB; and even happier for SOX baseball 2011!

Today's Gospel According to John Harrington -
The Pharisees were indeed pissed. Now Theo had made Clay and opened his eyes on a sabbath. So then the Pharisees also asked him how he was able to see the plate.
He said to them, “I washed, and now I can see.” So some of the Pharisees said, “This man is not from God, because he does not keep the sabbath.” But others said, “How can a man miss such signs?” And there was a East vs West division among them.
So they said to the blind man again,“What do you have to say about Theo, since he opened your eyes?” He said, “He is a prophet.”
Then they threw him out.

This is just extended spring training... Right?

So...how long until Curt Young is picking Lucchino's boot out of his ass crack?
I mean, someone's gotta hang for having our 1-2-3 starters each give up more dingers than a blind guy trying to parallel park.
