Closure (Being Closure)

Two guys walking, tall guy speaks:
So I'm strolling through the lobby of the Ritz-Carlton and what do I see?

Two guys walking, tall guy speaks:
Manny Ramirez eating a 3 MUSKETEERS and reading Scripture.

Two guys walking, tall guy speaks:
He's a man of God now, you know, right?

Two guys walking, short guy speaks:
Yeah, well, I was in Providence and I happen to notice some old dude standing in the middle of the street staring up at a building.

Two guys walking, short guy speaks:
I do a double-take when I realize it's Romano Prodi, the former Prime Minister of Italy.

Two guys walking, short guy speaks:
And I'm like, no fucking way, Romano Prodi, right there in front of me!

Two guys walking, no words exchanged:

Two guys walking, no words exchanged:

Two guys walking, tall guy speaks:
So how 'bout that Daniel Nava?

I would have thought Manny would be eating sixteen hundred $100,000 Bars.

So does this mean that Manny is getting the band back together?

Glad H&O make use of their down time from canceling their AZ gig to talk about irrelevancies.

Bob- LOL.

@pseudoinsanity78: any chance you are heading to Wimbledon this weekend? My colleagues and I are looking to score the last minute Ticketmaster tix for either Sat or Sun, would be fun to meet up if you are around.

Totally forgot about the strip today until I happened to Google "Romano Prodi" "Manny Ramirez". What luck.

1 game back and tied (sorta) with Tampa.

There must have been some magic in that old ball club they found...for when they put it on the field, it began to dance around.

You're Welcome

You're Welcome

It seems that this nice stretch coincides with Beckett and Matsuzaka on the DL. I almost dread their return.

Brilliant, HB

Howdy folks! The Red Sox will be in Denver this week playing your Colorado Rockies. I'll be at Thursday game. Hoping to be at the Ginn Mill by 4:30 for pre-game. I will buy any of you Soxaholic readers a Schlitz if you are in town for the game...

lc, that was evil. I've already even seen that si-BZZZZZZXZXZXZZZXZXZZZXZXZXZXZXZXZXZXZXZXzzzxzzz

Manny and Jesus...shoulda known. They're just like two peas in a pod.

Speaking of west coast trips, I'll be at AT&T this Saturday and Sunday if any Soxaholix will be in the Bay Area.

Colorado is home to one of the better microbrew companies out there (Boulder Beer) are you're offering us Schlitz? I would need to go so far down Memory Lane to remember the last time I had a Schlitz that I'm sure I'd get lost.

And h.b., the notion of Manny reading scripture is making my head hurt.

@ LarryE

There are more micro/craft brews here in Colorado than you can count. My faves include New Belgium and Odells. If you want to drop by I can be talked into an upgrade.

I'm there Fri and Sunday. What section are you in? I think I'm in 336 on Sunday

buckner -
Sunday I'm out in the bleachers. Sec 142, I think. But there's always time for an Anchor Steam in honor of LC.

As long as it's not a Cleveland Steamer in honor of LC.

mmmm Anchor Steam.

HB - I haven't had the pleasure of meeting buckner yet but if we hit it off...

@Natalie, unfortunately no to Wimbledon! Me and the hubby are off to Seattle at the weekend. A whole month of no work and the Sox v. Mariners series at the end of the July. If you end up going, enjoy. We went last year and it was a fantastic time.

could any of you heded out to Denver smuggle back some Oskar Blues? I can't find it anywhere in the People's Democratic Republic of Connecticut.
