Not a creature was stirring....
Without much going on Soxwise, figured I'd shut it down for the holidays.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all The Soxaholix readers, and thanks so much for being here daily for what turned out to be another really fantastic year!

Amen, h.b. and all y'all. Fortunately, I got the hack parody out of my system the other day, so let me say again, thanks to hb, and the rest of the alcoholic ne'r do well, thrill-seeking, mom's basement dwelling, over-acheiving, baseball-loving, meaty-thigh admiring, mfy-hating, over-educated, under-appreciated, and dyspeptic crowd.

Merry Christmas, happy holidays to the great H.B., and all the loons who frequent this creepy space.
I'm on vacation after today (until Jan. 2). Today's the shortest day of the year, yet promises to be the longest for me.
I wish you all (even the MFY fans) the best. My godson's 1st birthday is on Christmas Eve, and it makes me realize one thing:
We are fam-i-ly...
Oh, and fuck the Skankees.

Merry Christmas to you, too, hb, and thanks.

Merry Christmas everyone!
Holiday Work party starts at noon for me, so short day. Yipee!
Then down to CT to see the 'rents for the holidays. Wish me luck. Thank God for booze.

Merry Christmas everyone - love this blog, one of my favorites. I just wanted to pass this on - I just bought my Dad, 2 brothers in law, and myself one of these for Christmas - it's the official artist of the Sox - looks like he's selling it all for 1/2 off. The work looks unbelievable - should be arriving today. Check it out: www.markwaitkus.com. Found the link on the Herald's site.

OK Bob, I'll give in to peer pressure.
Joyeaux Noel to all. Happy holidays and safe travels. May you all find a bottle of Absinthe under the Christmas tree this year.

Happy holidays to one and all. Here's hoping for a Santana under the Christmas tree and a fantastic New Year (WS Champs 2008). Safe travels!

Happy Festivus (for the rest of us)! First, the Airing of Grievances! lc, you're some place warm...you bastard, enjoy it while you can! Bob, you drink more than me...lucky bastard!
Ok, now for Feats of Strength!
Finally, they'd take away my Ph.D. in science if I didn't remind everyone that:
The Earth's axial tilt is the reason for the season!
Haha, Happy Holidays to all. I'll be back from MD around 1/1/08.

Happy Holidays to all!
May we all have pleasant dreams of beer carts arriving earlier in the New Year, a pill to prevent gout, Senor Santana and another couple championships wouldn't be bad either.
Feliz Navidad - that's California for merry x-mas.

Does axial tilt explain why SDU has not weighed in with holiday greetings?

Harwich and dakine, sing it with me:
Mele kalikimaka is the thing to say

Hawaiian Christmas day...
Three and a half years in Honolulu gives this haole the right (if not the voice) to PROCLAIM.

Merry Christmas, ya'll. The egg nog cart came by a few minutes ago - actually that may have been 20 it has taken me awhile to type this - brandy and bourbon. Lucid will be under my tree (I found it for 50 at a local store), WS Wally in my kids stockings, and My First Red Sox World Series win T-Shirt for my baby girl. I don't need anything after winning my retina blinding WORLD SERIES CHAMPS shirt.

Yes, Yazbread, it is partially the axial tilt (it is 6.50am tomorrow), paritally the red wine and waiting for the red berocca to fizz, but mostly I am still in shock from receiving this E-Christmas card from Bob

Is that shirt bedazzled, NolaSox?
Back in the day, my sister bedazzled my Little League jersey.
She's, uh, been missing since then.
Posted by: Bob | 2007.12.21 at 02:58 PM
Jeez, SDU, now everyone's gonna think I'm weird.
BTW, I also sent one to H.B.
No response so far. :))

Friggin' hilarious!!!!
And, yes, weird and disturbing too. (But in a good way.)

Please tell me that disturbing Christmas card refers to Sriracha.

So lc is surly and lovable and Bob is weird and disturbing...oh and friggin' hiLarry-us. Keep up the good work peeps.

//Please tell me that disturbing Christmas card refers to Sriracha.//
Uh, yeah...yeah, that's what I was referring to.
Actually, the tat was supposed to be SANTA's opinion of SDU (and H.B.), not mine.
Hmmm, that sounds similar to our ongoing "the characters are not H.B." mantra, no?
Have a great Christmas/holiday, everyone. I'm starting beer cart early.

Another gift today received...fatso Clemens posting his mea culpa via HDTV.
