Seeing Schilling, the guy who was so dominant last yeah and who quite possibly ruined his career forevah by pitching on the injured ankle, getting clobbahd by the lowly Detroit Tigahs just breaks my haht.
Bill:
He gave us everything he had and continues to give us everything he has but it's not working.
Bill:
And how can they continue to work him like a caht horse? Schilling has appeahed in 13 of our last 18 games, and in 19 of the 29 games we've played since he went to the bullpen. This is a recipe for disastah for a careah relief pitchah, never mind for a guy who hasn't relieved in 13 years and is accustomed to wahming up for 30 minutes+ before a staht.
Bill:
Yeah, I know, I know, this team has previously weathead on through the most perilous of storms and even now stands in first — Still …
Bill:
On every new thing there lies already the shadow of annihilation.
